A lot of the guesses proved right then
F&f Managers returning
Stock and Admin manager going
One in, one out.
27/01/2026 at 6:06 pm #669Our F&F shift lead is being replaced by the return of a full time department manager. I’ve still not heard anything concrete about Stock and Admin manager going yet tho
From Reddit..
27/01/2026 at 6:26 pm #670Anything with pharmacy? After having a few close over the past few years.
27/01/2026 at 7:12 pm #671Its all store specific so not all stores will be the same.
Mine is losing compliance manager but our nearest Extra is keeping theirs. I’m not sure what data they are basing decisions on.
28/01/2026 at 6:54 am #698I’m hearing now our store, which is an extra, has to lose 60 hours 😮
28/01/2026 at 7:14 am #699where can they even take 60 hours from? even if they use the heatmaps they aren’t accurate.
28/01/2026 at 11:21 am #734Apparently there’s something happening in our store regarding backstock being worked on twilight. But nobody could be bothered staying last night, or coming in this morning, to brief the night managers. So we’re still none the wiser…..😡
28/01/2026 at 11:24 am #735Just another way of reducing night staff in stores. If your backstock is done by twilight staff then they will argue that you don’t need as many hours on nights. Seems inevitable that eventually there will be no night staff at all. They should do the right thing and at least offer redundancy
28/01/2026 at 2:00 pm #739Hoping any checkout/service team support do not get offered redundancy. This was refused 3 years ago in small superstores when team support were “demoted” to off till activity with a payout instead. Tried to get union involved,

but not interested as so few of us involved. With 20yrs service, would have preferred the choice.
28/01/2026 at 2:19 pm #741I’m heading into work soon and eager to hear what changes are planned ! I work team support in a superstore we don’t have night shifts but twilight! Has there been much confirmation about structural changes ?
28/01/2026 at 5:54 pm #743Still nothing? Our store has been tight lipped on it all.
28/01/2026 at 5:59 pm #744are you an extra? if so you probably won’t hear anything until all managers have looked at their heatmaps and determined where they can lose 60 hours from.
28/01/2026 at 6:06 pm #745Yes an extra. Is the 60 hours basic for all stores?
28/01/2026 at 6:09 pm #746Or it is just nights? Seems like the backstock filled by twilight doesn’t make sense, they halfing night crews to see who would do twilight, we have just received hired 2 staff we had over the Xmas period. And another just gone to days. Has we had gaps on the rotoas, mainly weekends
28/01/2026 at 6:11 pm #747I actually can’t say for sure tbh as nights in ours haven’t been told anything about moving to twilights.
All I know is that our shift leader said 60 hours across the store need to go. The usual fix to that is moving people around in line with the heatmap
