Hello, I have had a Lets Talk meeting against me a week ago. At the moment, I have two questions

This was vebal only. MUST notes be taken on the Lets Talk form and the form placed in my file, or is using the Lets Talk form optional? The reason I am asking is that:

I have been asked to attend an investigation meeting some seven days later.

Have Tesco not followed due process by not completing a Lets Talk form and secondly, are they able to conduct an investigation after a Lets Talk occasion (Verbal or otherwise) or without one altogether? I have been advised that once a Lets Talk has been taken, that further action cannot be taken.

Thanks in advance of an early reply as my investigation meeting is likely very soon ie the next couple of days 29th or 30th April.

      Thanks.

As a small side note, my line manager who wrote the letter to attend the investigation meeting has said that such meetings should be for a day that I am rostered for work. Tomorrow I am not as is an overtime day. Does anyone know if this is the case, as would like more time to prepare for it?
