They aren’t changing the whole shift but they are changing YOURS. If they want to play that game then they will have to accommodate colleagues who want to stay on nights in fresh surly
Strange how no redundancy was offered. Nights to days is classed as a major change
Business update at 9am
Possible for the stock and admin managers/ operations managers to go.
New structure:
1x front end
2x day replen managers/ 3 for extras
1x lead
1x SMLead manager to get all legal stuff, audits etc
Replen managers look after own SRM and SC routines through departmentsEither that or lose lead managers again
Even in stores with the newer structure the new stick and admin role is called operational manager and still has the lowest headcount. It’s designed like that so the other managers can focus on trade or service for example while the operational looks after the nitty gritty like audits, shrink, routines
The DCs can’t keep up with the demand of all stores removing Nightshifts. If anything, nights might get streamlined to fresh only and the rest of the fill on twilight
I’m confused with what you guys are saying. Stores should already be running with the management structure mentioned.
The company invested heavily in fixing the mess of the 2023 management restructure last year by brining more managers/ lead managers back into the business.
Stores should have:
1 sm
1 lead
1 trade for small SS or 1/1/1 for each trade area in extras
1 front end
1 operational
A number of SL depending on store size -
