Back in the day Christmas Eve was used to “tidy up” those deliveries that were missing their turkeys etc. One driver and the team leader in one van.
In my previous role at the Range we had a choice to work Christmas Eve or Boxing Day and I always chose Christmas Eve to work until I left the company for Tesco in 2021. For a brief amount of years I was thinking glad I didn’t have to work either of the two and now and many others across the country we do.
