Going out delivering for the first time by myself. Just a quick question. Can you leave before your departure time? Just wanna give myself spare time.
In theory, if you have clocked on at the start of your shift and taken the time and due diligence to do your van checks then your don’t have the opportunity to leave early. In practise, leaving the odd five minute or so early is do-able. Much more than that and you could be pinged by the system and be having a Lets Talk with your manager. Local practise at your place could also play its part – what do the other drivers do?
