That’s the way it’s been in our store for a few years now. Stock and Admin, GM, PI and Clothing all under 1 manager.
I think admin will go eventually but not just now in large stores whilst we still have physical personnel files. Plus why give us the new training, new slide deck for Warm welcome if getting rid a few months later. I am also on the admin chat but it surprises me that some only do a couple of hours in admin. If they followed the Admin role pack I don’t know how this would be the case However what I do think is managers etc think admin do nothing and may be better on shop floor and not let them do what admins are meant to be doing. What they don’t get is that it probably admins that keep them legal with regards to RTW and GDPR etc. What will be will be.
