Thank you
21/01/2025 at 5:37 pm #268I can’t see them offering Team Support redundancy. It will be a payout or pay protection for 18 months.
Most Extras have 300 plus staff. I question the logic of a head office who think you can run a work force that size with only four line managers and no admin.
Good luck
23/01/2025 at 9:10 am #269I’m a Stock & Admin Mgr and I spent a lit of time over Christmas doing Counts and with the current OSI schedule support my team to do routines.
In my shop we already only have 2 managers after 4pm so to lose another one is crazy.23/01/2025 at 9:37 am #270We’re on twilight grocery trail fill.. I hope we get redundancy
23/01/2025 at 3:39 pm #271Sainsburys have started the ball rolling with job losses
23/01/2025 at 5:00 pm #272Please someone put us out of our misery…..what’s happening??? Someone must know something 😂
23/01/2025 at 9:57 pm #273Think you’ll find days of redundancy being offered long gone. Be pay protection or buyout. That’s what happened in my store when we went from nights fill to twilights and also when wage clerks lost their role.
24/01/2025 at 8:20 am #274So, what’s the likely hood H&B will move to days? Are they sure it will work doing the delivery in daytime? Especially in Extra stores.
Twilights didn’t work either.
24/01/2025 at 9:02 pm #275I work in an extra which has a twilights operation.
Health & Beauty is on days.24/01/2025 at 9:03 pm #276Apparently there is a briefing on Monday morning.
24/01/2025 at 9:29 pm #277If stores have been trialing nights on twilights then a full roll out is probably on the cards even if it doesn’t work they will still roll it out.
I’ve been told it’s management related though. That said. If nights is going then that’s two night managers, one lead and a shift leader gone.
25/01/2025 at 7:28 am #278Here we go again!! Good luck everyone.
25/01/2025 at 9:39 am #279There’s been no twilight trials. I was a night store that went to twilights before Covid.
25/01/2025 at 10:26 am #280Yes, we had twilights for H&B but it didn’t work for our store so had to go back to nights. which is what’s making me question why they would move it completely to days of twilight didn’t even work.
I heard as well it was management related so hopefully H&B won’t be affected.
25/01/2025 at 1:14 pm #281Most likely briefing Monday. Same time two years ago. Day after every voice matters, how nice of them. Which times the consultation perfectly so that they don’t have to pay the annual bonus just before you leave.
