What’s the other changes? That could happen in other stores?
27/01/2026 at 2:05 pm #653Any changes in extras?
27/01/2026 at 2:09 pm #654Dotcom lead manager going in some stores. Reduction in dotcom managers hours in extras. Store specific obviously on banding.
27/01/2026 at 2:10 pm #655Yes there is a few changes in extras according to people on Reddit. Haven’t seen much about express yet?
27/01/2026 at 2:18 pm #656Any news on superstores?
27/01/2026 at 2:44 pm #657Whats the changes in Extras?
27/01/2026 at 2:46 pm #658Not my info someone’s off Reddit for Large stores
The compliance manager role is changing and being removed from some stores.
Dotcom is getting an extra shift leader.
Lots of new equipment for various departments.
All large stores with a night team fill. Will now see backstock in certain areas filled with a twilight fill.
New technology in dotcom eg: variable pickrates unique to the individual trip. Automatically removing items of picktrips that are OOS
27/01/2026 at 2:48 pm #659Is that info from today or speculation from previously?
Least it looks like front end is ok for now.
27/01/2026 at 2:50 pm #660From today apparently. Someone had a meeting at 1pm and got told above. I’ve still not heard anything about express lite , express so taking it as a good thing
27/01/2026 at 2:54 pm #662Will be good to see pick rates adjusted to each shop. Never fair picker A picking 20 cans of the same beans is praised for being blue whilst picker B having 20 items in 20 different aisles is challenged over why their pick is amber/red.
27/01/2026 at 2:55 pm #663Nothing in the admin chat group I am in about compliance manager going but maybe they haven’t been briefed yet.
27/01/2026 at 3:03 pm #664Its not really a surprise if compliance manager is going, like already said in most stores it falls under the non food managers. I wonder if its redundancy or being moved to a new store??
Better picking software sounds really good. Has there been a trial going on for that?
27/01/2026 at 4:24 pm #665What I’ve heard doesn’t sound good. All departments to be slim lined. The chance for extra hours will now be non existent as colleagues who leave will most likely not be replaced. Store managers actual words. So if you are a colleague on 16 hours trying to build up your contract good luck, you’ll be better off looking for a new job.
27/01/2026 at 5:46 pm #666As I said in a previous post F&F brand managers being put back into stores, we are an extra.. my shift leader role as the F&F shift leader is being removed, another kick in the teeth as I was the clothing manger before I stepped down to shift lead for the dept..should never of been removed ..but 🤷♀️. I had my meeting today ..
27/01/2026 at 5:49 pm #667^ Sorry to hear that but surely they will give you the chance to apply for it? unless they are putting the compliance manager there?
So it possibly looks like Compliance Manager going, their staff to non food mananger while non food manager loses F&F?
