What will night shifts work patterns be? 2pm – 11pm? or 1pm til – 10pm because that’s not exactly twilight is it.
A lot of the guesses proved right then
F&f Managers returning
Stock and Admin manager going
One in, one out.
What I’ve heard doesn’t sound good. All departments to be slim lined. The chance for extra hours will now be non existent as colleagues who leave will most likely not be replaced. Store managers actual words. So if you are a colleague on 16 hours trying to build up your contract good luck, you’ll be better off looking for a new job.
Nothing in the admin chat group I am in about compliance manager going but maybe they haven’t been briefed yet.
All Team Managers in mine getting told at 1pm.
Team Support and Admin roles not effected. Don’t know about the wider store as my Union rep seemed unsure herself but sounds like hours are being cut in some places. CSD by the sounds of it might be joining PFS in closing at 8PM in Extras
There’s only selected Extras that still have a Stock and Admin manager. In the majority of stores it already moved under GM.
Store managers finding out first then line managers? will probably leak soon.
I am in an Admin group and a lot do seem to think its them who will be sacrificed. The admin assistant in our store is always on shop floor these days anyway. So its probably been heading this way since everything moved to the app.
Asda is dropping 150 managers mainly from stock control.
Tesco often follow their lead.
